Peter and Alice, Helen and Arun, Rick and Angela.
Beloved Opa of Melinda and Katie, and Daniel and Mitchell.

Dear Dad,

You spent my life teaching me.Firstly to walk, then to run, ride a bike and drive a car. You taught me maths and to become a gardener. You taught me to be the best man I could be. But when it came to fatherhood, I try to copy you.

Thank you for giving me a wonderful childhood full of happy memories, and guiding me though the difficult teenage years. You were always firm with me, but now as a parent myself I realise you were only trying to keep me safe.

As an adult I knew that if I ever needed you, you would be there.

I just wanted to thank you for all your help, guidance and patience, all through my life in helping me to become the best person I could possibly be. Your words will always remain with me and your smile always lit up my day and is etched in my mind. Your integrity remained till the end. You taught me so much from swimming to soccer, gardening to life skills. I can only hope that some of your morals have been passed down on to me.

Thank you dad and have a peaceful existence wherever you are. I’ll miss you.

Beste oom Leo

wij hebben elkaar maar kort gekend maar wel een leuke tijd gehad je was hier toen Tim klein was en hebt dan ook zijn eerste stapjes met hem glopen voor mij was dit een onvergeetelijke tijd. we hebben het gezellig gehad en hebben van je vehalen genoten.
Nu ben je er niet meer maar nu zul je in onze verhalen blijven voortbestaan.
